"Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down..."

Its almost that time of year again! Halloween! I'm super excited about my costume this year, Mary Poppins! I wore my costume to Disneyland this past weekend knowing that it would be the perfect setting for my Halloween post this week. It was a nice compliment when people started taking pictures of me as they walked by because they thought I was one of the Disney characters employed at the park!
I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought it was super cute, I mostly loved the simplicity of it, knowing that it would be fairly easy to put together since I already had most of the items in my wardrobe (links below photos). I hope you all enjoy! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

A Day in the Desert

Over the weekend I went to Joshua Tree to camp with some friends and it was a blast! I kept it comfortable and cool in this Forever 21 shawl and boyfriend jeans. I never thought that I could pull off a boyfriend jean because I assumed the baggy style would make me look bigger and wouldn’t compliment my fuller figure, but I am glad I purchased these. They are so comfortable and look cute too!

Hats-N-Lattes

Last week my cousin Michelle took me to this cute cafe in my hometown of San Fernando called Compañía de Café. This place is such a gem, from the cute decor to the delicious Iced Horchata Latte that I guzzled. On this typical high temperature Autumn day in LA, I decided to keep it casual with a white cotton grapic tee and a high-waisted floral skirt (links below pictures). I love the fit of this skirt, has the look of a maxi skirt but is a bit more casual with its shorter length.

Hello All, Hello Fall

Welcome to my first blog post! I am completely new to this and plan to learn as I go. Today I had a fun filled day with friends. We welcomed fall by visiting a pumpkin patch and I thought a flannel top would fit the occasion. Below are two looks I tried with the flannel shirt. Hope you enjoy!
