Wedding Season

Wedding season is upon us, and I love it! Its the perfect excuse to get a whole new outfit, and not feel too guilty about it. So I did just that!

I love the lace detail on this Modcloth dress! The combination of the dress style and lace detail creates the perfect balance of feeling dressed up with out feeling over dressed. And the fit was perfect for my body type.

I apologize for the lack of posts, but I didn't have a laptop or computer to use, which definitely made it difficult to post often! But I finally got myself a brand new Macbook! So no more excuses, expect more posts!

Romping Around

My 1st Romper! I have tried on many rompers in the past but they did not compliment my body at all! Forever 21+ came out with this one made for curvier body type and I just had to have it! It has taken me a lot of practice to learn how to dress my body. It is very important to know what compliments your body type!

I am so thankful for Forever 21 Plus! Its like, FINALLY! And its not just Forever 21, I am now seeing a lot more young woman plus size clothing options popping up every where! Its a revolution!

Lacey Days

I wore this outfit on a fun day out, I went with this outfit mostly because it was comfortable. If you haven't caught on already, you will quickly realize that I am all about the comfort! It always plays a major roll when I am deciding what to wear. This lacey top and loose boyfriend jeans were a perfect choice in keeping me nice and cool on hot day in LA.

Spring is Coming

I'm back! I know I have been MIA for awhile, life has been hectic, but I finally have a new post ready!

 Last weekend I attended a St. Patrick's Day party and this was the outfit of choice. I don't own a lot of green, but I thought this top had the perfect amount of green to count. If you already couldn't tell from my previous post, I am obsessed with this skirt from Modcloth! It is so comfortable and the pockets really come in handy. And those wedges! Wedges are my jam, they are a perfect way to dress up an outfit and stay comfortable. Its rare that you will catch me in heels, they just don't make sense to me.

Friendly Memories

Last weekend I went on a photo date with a dear old friend Kacee. This took us back to the good ole days in High School when we went on photo dates together before blogs were a thing and digital camera were just becoming popular. Wow, that makes me feel old, but definitely still young at heart! We had such a blast taking these photos, so many laughing fits and silliness. Kacee and I have many things in common, but one thing we really bonded about in HS was that we were both curvy girls. At the time I think we both had a hard time accepting our bodies, but I can see now how far we've come and how we are growing into such strong beautiful women who are proud of our bodies!

We both went for two different cute and casual looks, which is my favorite combo to go for! I get to be comfortable and feel cute at the same time. Kacee kept it simple with a jersey dress and cargo jacket. While I wore a sheer top and high waisted skirt. I just purchased this skirt from ModCloth and I am obsessed! It was so comfortable and has pockets!

Happy New Year!!! I hope everyone had good start to 2015. With a new year comes new possibilities and I cant wait to see what 2015 has to offer. One of my goals with the new year is to invest more focus into this blog, I have gotten good feed back so far and want to see where it can take me and those who follow it! Another goal, which a goal that I have every year is to travel somewhere new! I am a big lover of traveling, which is why I fell in love with the globe Modcloth necklace pictured below! I really wanted the necklace to stick out so I kept the outfit simple by wearing all black.
