I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! I sure did.
So, let’s talk about confidence... here I am, in a bathing
suit, purposely capturing it on film, whaaa! While I try to stay confident in
my curves, I still have those self-conscious moments. When I was sorting
through these photos I couldn't help but notice everything I didn't like about
the photos, all the angles where I looked chubby, didn’t like my arms or had a double
chin. Then I remembered why I started doing this in the first place, and that
is to be proud of my curves! And with that thought alone, I felt better. I created
this blog with the intention of pushing myself out of my comfort zone and
hopefully inspiring other girls like me to do the same. I’m still a work in
progress, but I’ve come a long way. I just have to remember that confidence
starts with myself and I hope I can help others discover the same thing.
About the look: I purchased this bathing suit last year from Alwaysforme.com, and I love it. My favorite part about is that it appears to be a one piece, but it is actually a TWO piece! And its geared towards plus size woman, so theres a lot of suits that compliment a curvier shape.
